Είμαι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Χημείας του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων. Στην διπλωματική μου εργασία μελέτησα συστήματα προσροφητικών υλικών στο Εργαστήριο Βιομηχανικής Χημείας όπου εκπαιδεύτηκα στη χρήση υγρού και αέριου χρωματογράφου.
Συνέχισα τις σπουδές μου στον τομέα της Περιβαλλοντικής Χημείας σε επίπεδο Master στο Πανεπιστήμιο UMIST της Μ. Βρετανίας, όπου και είχα τη δυνατότητα σύντομης εκπαίδευσης στις εγκαταστάσεις βιολογικού καθαρισμού της εταιρίας πετρελαιοειδών BP.
Στην προσπάθεια μου να αξιοποιήσω και να αναπτύξω τις γνώσεις που έχω αποκτήσει μέχρι σήμερα, θα επιθυμούσα να εργαστώ στην εταιρία σας και στη συγκεκριμένη θέση, θεωρώντας ότι έτσι προωθώ με τον καλύτερο τρόπο την επαγγελματική μου σταδιοδρομία

Dear sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in working, for a period of yup to 6 months, with your company through the European Union “Leonardo Da Vinci” program.
As you will observe in my resume, I am an undergraduate student in the final year of studies of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Ioannina, Greece. Studying Mathematics did not only earn me pure Mathematical knowledge, but also analytic and critical thought. Furthermore, I enjoy achieving results to predetermined goals. During my attendance at the University, I have attended sessions on business research such as Mathematical programming, Possibilities, Statistics, Intellectual procedures and applications. These have helped me translate daily problems into models, thus allowing me to approach them in mathematical way, providing the best solutions. In addition, I have successfully attended computer lessons such as: Programming languages (C++, Pascal, Mathematica), Arithmetic Analysis, Data Base etc. Attending these lessons supplied me with all necessary qualifications to efficiently use Windows 98, Windows NT, and UNIX Orating System Environments as well as allowing me to create new programs.
My professional experience so far has been rich. I have worked in GREEN CAMP (children camp), located in Ileias/Lehena, Greece, every summer, for four years. My evolution from plain group leader, where I was in charge of 15 children (ages 10-12), to head of a village, in charge of 50 children (ages 10-12), gave me many duties and responsibilities with which I had to cope. Supervising and managing the children, organizing athletic activities and entertainment for the entire camp have been amongst some of my duties. Good proof of my devotion and my efficient work is that I have already been considered as an essential executive for the best running of this private enterprise.
Working for your company will give me the opportunity to enhance my critical spirit and to further improve my communicating, organizational and management skills. The valuable experience, which will be offered to me, will be the anteroom for my graduate studies that I wish to follow in the field of Management and Business Administration and a start, I hope, for a successful and professional career.
